On August 13, 2020, Jennifer Peckham was sworn in by Chief Family Law Judge Honorable Judge Svetkey as a Multnomah County pro tem judge.
Ms. Peckham will be responsible for presiding over Judicial Settlement Conferences (JSCs).
Judicial Settlement Conferences are essentially a form of mediation, wherein parties appear before a Judge to review the case, make recommendations, and enter judgments on the record should the parties reach agreement.
Many of the pro tem judges, including Ms. Peckham, bring many years of experience to the table. Ms. Peckham has a decade of family law experience.
It is an honor to become a pro tem judge, and we congratulate Ms. Peckham on this achievement.
